Sean O’Donnell joined Hydraulic Services NZ Consultants in 1996.

Sean started his career in the Plumbing Trade working for a large Commercial Plumbing firm in Auckland. Upon completing his apprenticeship and completing registration as a Plumber and Gasfitter, Sean accepted the role of senior estimator within the company.

During this time Sean witnessed a real lack of good quality Hydraulic design documentation pass across his desk, which was then reflected in the tendering process within the Plumbing industry. Industry was in need of good, sound design advice and documentation. It was often left to the Plumbing companies to sort it out themselves.

In 1997 Sean accepted a role as a Hydraulic Design Consultant with Hydraulic Services Consultants Ltd where he was an employee until offered a directorship in 2001 within the company. To this day, Sean and the team at HSC NZ Ltd continually strive to set the highest of standards with good quality, clear and concise Hydraulic designs for the Plumbing and Drainage industry.

Sean is a plumber by trade, and a Quantity Surveyor by profession.
